Sr. Ministry Day Out
Sr. Ministry is sponsoring a DAY OUT on Sunday, May 5th. If you want to carpool we will leave Immanuel immediately following the late service (noon) and go to Benihana's restaurant at 912 Ridgelake Blvd for lunch. After lunch we will go to the Crystal Shrine Grotto, inside Memorial Park Cemetery, at 5668 Poplar Ave., and do a self guided tour. This is the largest man-made crystal cave in the world. Through-out the cave are different sculpture scenes of legends and biblical stories. It tells the journey of Jesus from birth to resurrection. Please rsvp to Shirley or call the church office by April 28th .

Please join us for bible class every week at 9:50 in the multi-purpose room of the school. Each week we explore God’s word and our Lutheran faith. Coffee and snacks are provided. Please join us for study and fellowship.
SLAM Summer Academy
We have exciting summer programs being offered at Immanuel this summer. For rising 1st-9th graders, we are offering both academic enrichment classes and sports camps for six weeks this summer. You can sign up for one or both programs week by week or for the whole summer! I will personally be managing and planning the sports camps and believe this is a wonderful opportunity for your child to develop their skills in a variety of sports. If your child has interest in playing a sport for ILS next year, I highly recommend that they participate as this will be a great chance to encourage their growth. A Morning in the Garden
Visit 45 companies that offer solutions to many of needs of older Americans. Attendees will have the chance to win various door prizes, including the grand prize, a 65” smart TV. This event is for everyone and includes free parking and admission to the park ($12 value).

Mite Sunday
April 14th is the 2nd Sunday of April. IT IS MITE SUNDAY. Please bring your coins and bills and drop them into the large mite box. All of these donations directly support our mission goals.

Life Walk at the Memphis Zoo
We are so excited to announce our annual Life Walk is back! This is a family friendly event for all ages. The Life Walk will be held at the Primate Pavilion at the Memphis Zoo on Saturday, April 13th, 2024. Check-in will begin at 9AM with the Walk commencing at 10AM. Your registration fee covers entry into our event, a Life Walk t-shirt, brunch, and a day at the Zoo! We can’t wait to see YOU there! Life Walk supports Life Choices of Memphis.
Black & Gold Gala
Step into the Kentucky Derby as we have food, fellowship, and fun! Bring your best 'hat' itude to Grind City Brewery, located at 76 Waterworks Ave Memphis, TN April 12, 2024 at 7PM. We will have a silent and live auction, play fun games, and have food and drinks!
Must be 21 to attend!
Potluck
Immanuel will have Bible study at 9am, one Worship Service at 10am, and a potluck immediately following the service in the school's Multipurpose room to kick off our 100th Anniversary Celebration. Please bring a dish to share (with a serving utensil) and Fellowship will provide the paper products and drinks. If you want to bring your food to the school kitchen before the service to keep warm or cold, Fellowship ladies will be in the kitchen at 8:45am.
