Serving and Sharing Jesus at the Memphis Union Mission – Saturday, September 30

Thanks very much to the 34 volunteers who helped provide for the physical and spiritual needs of those being ministered to at the Memphis Union Mission on September 30.  Immanuel purchased food and our volunteers prepared and served lunch to about 150 people who were homeless, hungry, and hurting.  Prior to serving lunch, Immanuel led the chapel service with Pastor Will sharing that Jesus Christ has become for us wisdom from God through the message of the cross and empty tomb based on 1 Corinthians 1:18-31.  The worship songs were led by our Praise Team.  The help everyone provided at the Mission is very much appreciated.  Jesus said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
