Children attending Vacation Bible School at Immanuel participated in a service project to help children in need who attend Porter-Leath Preschool that were provided with healthy snacks for the weeks ahead.  The shoe-size boxes were beautifully decorated by the VBS children and snacks such as Juicy Juice Apple Juice boxes, Goldfish cheddar crackers, Motts Apple Applesauce cups, Honey Teddy Grahams, Mini Nilla Wafers, and Barnums Animal Crackers were packed in the 35 decorated boxes.  Within several hours of delivering the boxes, Immanuel received the following email: “What an amazing blessing that is right on time!!!  The Parent Educators in one of our programs just talked to me yesterday about some of our struggling families and what we could do to help provide some extra food for the children and then you all just brought over 30+ boxes!!!  Thank you for doing this because we were in true need for our little ones!!!  Angela Meekins, Development Coordinator, Porter-Leath”
